For some people, the economic system within a democracy is merely a practical consideration. Within the framework of democracy, varying economic theories and rules are to them an anathema. Capitalism. as it springs from the vaunted scientific theory of Darwinism and evolution, is as true as any wide and varied assumption made from evolution and is static. It is proven and not to be messed with.
To say that evolution itself is static is quite a leap for me but that truly is the standpoint of people who believe that this economic system, Capitalism, has evolved to the point of perfection and needs no further tinkering. In fact it springs from nature itself. A nature without man's influence other than the divination of the theory itself.
